Services
Five areas of live television work, from gallery wiring to lighting plots, planned and documented so your broadcast runs steadily.
Five services for studios that go live
glamforyu works on the technical and procedural side of live television: equipment integration, camera setup, acoustics, lighting and workflow. Each service can be taken alone or combined, and each ends with written documentation your crew can use after we have left the building.
Studio Equipment Integration
We plan, wire and test vision mixers, monitors, intercom and playout so your gallery works as one system.
Camera Techniques and Setup
Camera positioning, framing and movement planning for news desks, interviews and multi-camera live shows.
Acoustic Optimisation
Room measurement and treatment advice so voices stay clear and studio noise stays under control.
Lighting Design for Live TV
Lighting plots and rigging plans that give presenters and guests consistent, flattering light on camera.
Live Production Workflow Review
A written review of your running order, cueing and fallback procedures to make live broadcasts more dependable.
Tell us about your studio, your programme format and your crew size when you get in touch, and we will shape the scope around that before any figure is agreed.
ContactHow to choose where to start
Start with the gallery or the floor
If problems show up in the control room, such as dropped sources, confusing intercom or unreliable playout, integration is the place to begin. If they show up on camera, look first at camera setup and lighting. The choice follows where your last difficult broadcast went wrong.
- Gallery faults: integration
- Picture faults: camera and lighting
- Voice faults: acoustics
- Cueing faults: workflow review
Measure before you treat
Acoustic work and lighting work both begin with measurement on site. Priya takes readings of the room, Tom walks the set with a light meter, and only then do we write recommendations. That keeps the proposal tied to what the space actually does rather than to assumptions.
- Room measurement before any advice
- Light readings at presenter positions
- Written findings you keep
- Recommendations ranked by effect
Review the process, not only the kit
Many failed broadcasts trace back to cueing, handover or a missing fallback, not to equipment. A workflow review reads your running order and procedures as written and as practised, then sets out where a live show is most likely to slip.
- Running order read line by line
- Cueing and talkback habits observed
- Fallback steps written down
- Plain report for the whole crew
Studio Equipment Integration
This service suits broadcasters adding to or rebuilding a gallery, or finding that separate pieces of kit do not behave as one system. Daniel plans the signal paths, wires and tests the vision mixer, monitors, intercom and playout, and documents the result.

- Signal path planning
- We draw every source, destination and control connection before anything is fitted. You see the plan, question it and agree it, so surprises on installation day are kept to a minimum.
- Wiring and labelling
- Cabling is run, dressed and labelled to the drawing. Clear labels mean a new operator or an outside engineer can trace a fault without guessing, long after the build is finished.
- Testing under live conditions
- Each path is tested with real sources and a full crew on headsets, not only with a signal generator. Faults found at this stage cost far less than faults found on air.
- Handover documentation
- You receive drawings, source lists and a short operating guide. Daniel walks your team through them so the knowledge stays with your people rather than with us.
Please send a list of existing equipment, any floor plans and the date of your next planned broadcast, so we can judge how much testing time the gallery needs.
Describe your studio and the problem you want solved through the contact page. We will reply with questions, and a written quotation follows once the scope is clear to both sides.
