The people who plan and run your studio work

glamforyu

Four specialists cover workflow, systems, sound and light, so the person advising you on a given problem is the person who has done that work before.

Who we are

Four specialists, one working method

Each member of the team leads one area of the work and is named on the proposal for it. You deal with the same people from first conversation to handover.

How we work

The principles behind every studio job we take

Live television leaves little room for second attempts, so the way a job is carried out matters as much as the result. Our principles come from years in galleries and studios, where a loose cable or a vague instruction shows up in front of an audience. They shape how we plan, test and hand over.

  1. Reliability

Reliability means a studio behaves the same way on the tenth broadcast as on the first. We test equipment with a full crew before it is relied on, write down fallback steps for the moments when something fails, and leave a build in a state that a different engineer could maintain without calling us.

  2. Clarity

Clarity runs through plans, drawings and reports. Daniel labels every cable and documents every build, Priya reports measurements in plain terms, and Helen writes workflow reviews that a producer and a runner can both read. If a recommendation cannot be explained simply, we treat it as unfinished.

  3. Craft

Craft is the care taken over small details: where a camera stands, how a light is angled, how a panel is fixed to a wall. Tom trains crews on the day so skills stay with your team. We prefer a modest result done properly to an ambitious one done loosely.
